PCModel is molecular modeling software widely used in Chemistry.

Platforms: Windows, macOS

Availability:
William & Mary Public Access Labs
Installation on personal or University computers of Department of Chemistry Faculty and Students ONLY.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

Windows Users: 

 Go to Start>Search and type:
\\kittyhawk.campus.wm.edu\apps\pcmodel\windows

• Enter your W&M Username & Password
• Open the Windows folder and right-click “pmc93_installer.exe” and choose “Run as Administrator”
• Enter an installation location: C:\Program Files\PCModel93

Mac users:

Go to Finder>Go>Connect to server and type: smb://kittyhawk.campus.wm.edu/apps/pcmodel/mac     

• Enter your W&M Username & Password
• Open the Mac folder and download and install the “pcm-93.dmg” file

LICENSE RESTRICTIONS:

Who has permissions to use this software (fac/staff, students)?
Students and faculty of the Department of Chemistry

Where can this software be installed (University owned/personal)?
Any university owned or personal laptop belonging to faculty, staff, or students.

How can this software be used?
Academic use only, not-for-profit
